At the 64th annual meeting of the Health Physics Society in July 2019, Emily Caffrey was named the new Editor-in-Chief of their Ask-The-Expert Feature (found here: http://hps.org/publicinformation/ate/). She takes the place of Gen Roessler, who created the feature some 20 years ago. 13,000 or so questions and answers later, Ask the Experts has become the Society’s greatest public information and education endeavor. In addition to her new role as Editor-in-Chief, Emily is also assuming the role of Public Information Committee Chair.
